FAQs

How do you pronounce your name?

Our name is Italian for “kitchen of Paul” and is pronounced like your sneezing, Coo-Cheena-de-Paolo!

How long have you been around?

We’ve been around for almost 30 years. We’ve been at our current location for 15 of those. We were also helped found both of the Farmers markets in Boise.

Do I need to order ahead?

No, lasagnas can be made in a matter of minutes and we make our pot pies ahead of time. It does expedite things however and if you have a large order ensures that we are able to fill it.

Can I bring my own casserole dish in to be filled?

Most certainly!

What are the baking instructions for the lasagna?

Remove lid. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Top with heated sauce and parmesan cheese. For best results bake on a cookie sheet and let rest for 10-20 minutes.

What are the cooking instructions for the pot pies?

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Turn down to 375 degrees after preheated. Remove plastic and bake pie of 45-50 minutes until golden brown.

Why did you stop being a full service restaurant?

Unfortunately Paul died unexpectedly and to honor Paul and the legacy of Cucina di Paolo; we decided to continue on and offer our lasagnas, chicken pot pies which have been our flagship products. Mary Jean continues to be on a roll with her homemade desserts. To round out dinner we’re also offering fresh cut salad and bread.
